Job description
The Carpenter Helper duties including helping carpenters by performing duties requiring less skill, including carrying tools and wood, making simple wood cuts, fastening lumber with staples and tack plates, positioning wood forms and holding lumber in place using a jig. Clean up job site. Must be able to follow safety procedures. Will be exposed to strenuous physical activity and repetitive motions.
Special Requirements
One month (1) of woodworking, construction, or related experience is required. Workers may be required to work weekends and/or flexible shifts. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. 25 yds. Must be able to pass employer-paid pre-employment, post-accident, and/or other random drug testing. Proper and accurate use of tape measure is required.
Updated F.a.11 to include: 40 Hours per week with the varying shifts: 1ST shift, Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM to
3:30 PM; 2nd shift, Monday-Wednesday, 4:00 PM to 4:30 AM, and Thurs, 4:00 PM to
8:00 PM (with 30 min. lunches).
