Job description
Crops: Corn.
Workers will process, bag, rebag, and repack recently harvested seed corn. Must be able to work long hours, where conditions may be hot and humid, the majority of the workday is spent on ones feet. Must be able to lift 70lbs to shoulder height repetitively throughout the workday. Workers will work in a produce storage facility adjacent to farmland leased and controlled by fixed-site grower, Remington Seeds. At least 51% of product handled by workers will be grown/produced directly by Remington Seeds. When needed, workers may be asked to operate a forklift to move the seed corn bags or agricultural products within the produce storage facility. Must be able to listen to, understand, and follow simple instructions of supervisors.
Special Requirements
2 months corn processing, bagging, rebagging, and repacking experience.
