Job description

Maintain grazing pastures: fence repair, water line repair, maintain general facilities and roads, clean and repair watering equipment and feeders. Help roundup cattle for seasonal rotations, health checks, and branding as necessary. Attend to live farm, ranch animals that include cattle; Duties include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, castrating, branding, catching, and loading animals; Maintain records on animals; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Assist in birth deliveries; Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate; Move livestock from one location to another; Clean and maintain animal housing areas; Provide mineral to cattle.

Special Requirements

Two (2) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 70 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
