Ag Equipment Operator

Job description

Duties include driving and operating farm machinery such as tractors and combines to perform farm activities such as harvesting crops, wheat, beans & sugar beets. Workers will drive tractors equipped with GPS and operate designated harvest equipment and relocate the crops from the fields to storage on the farm or local elevator. They will haul materials, supplies, or crops to designated locations. Workers will haul grains, equipment, and input items such as fertilizer, seed, and supplies to storage and stockpiles on the farm or local elevators. All crops and supplies will be the property of the Employer. There will be no commercial hauling and no CDL is required for the job position.

Routine maintenance will be done on all equipment & grounds. Workers must be able to work independently after being given instructions and must be team players when needed.
Requirements:
- Employees must have a valid driver's license or obtain one within 60 days.
- Cell phone usage is limited to business-related calls only.
- NO TEXTING.
- No smoking in equipment, vehicles, housing, or grounds.
- No drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours and otherwise discouraged.
- Must be able to read, understand, and speak English for record keeping and safety reasons.
- No Educational level is required.
- Must have three months of tractor driving experience with GPS and towed implements. Operate and understand GPS and computerized monitors.

Special Requirements

Employees must have valid driver's license or obtain one in 30 days.

No drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours is otherwise discouraged.
No Educational level is required.
Must have three months of tractor driving installed with GPS and towed implements. Operate/understand GPS with computerized monitors.
