Job description
Greet and seat guests in the dining area; Present menus and answer basic questions about menu items; Take food and beverage orders and enter orders into a point-of-sale (pos) system; Serve prepared food items and beverages, including seafood dishes, rice and noodle dishes, and drinks, by carrying trays from the kitchen to guest tables; Check on tables during meals and refill water, tea, and soft drinks as needed; Package to-go orders when requested; Clear used plates, bowls, utensils, and glassware from tables; Wipe and reset tables with clean utensils, condiments, and napkins for the next guest; Process payments through the pos system and issue receipts; Follow restaurant cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
Special Requirements
No minimum education or experience required. Employer will provide on-the-job training. Must be able to perform the duties of the position.
