Job description
Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, leaf blowing, winterization and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Workers may also prune trees/bushes or hedges from the ground only using shears, pruning saws, pruning poles, electric clippers, hedge or brush trimmers. Load/unload/move trees, shrubs and landscape materials; remove debris; maintain, clean and store equipment/tools when not in use.
Special Requirements
Must lift/carry 70 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Post-hire upon suspicion of use and post-accident drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers. Post-hire background checks may be required of foreign and domestic workers based on contract requirements. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
