Job description
As a carpenter helper, the worker will perform duties requiring less skill. The duties include using, supplying, or holding materials or tools, and cleaning the work area and equipment as directed by the carpenter or the project manager. Under the direction of the carpenter or the project manager, the worker will assist with framing tasks such as installing floors, exterior and interior walls, cabinets, trim, and windows for new construction projects. The worker will use, supply, or hold materials or tools such as hammers, speed squares, drills, saws, and screwdrivers. The worker will clean up worksites as needed. The workers will receive on-the-job training as needed.
Special Requirements
Workers must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs. for 50 yards. Workers must have three (3) months of experience using carpentry hand and power tools. The employer will request drug testing upon reasonable suspicion. Drug tests will be paid for by the employer.
