Job description
We need seasonal help to get our multiple crops off and help us load out our potatoes through the winter, and get equipment put away and cleaned. Employees will be, grating potatoes and harvesting. Employees will operate a manual truck, tractor, skid and loader. Employees will assist in all farm duties as assigned, and complete routine maintenance as needed. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at the previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.
Special Requirements
Employer will conduct post-hire drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Employer will conduct post-hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a felony/theft criminal background as required by the workplace safety policy and company HR hiring practices as allowed by law. Job requires repetitive movements. 50 lbs lifting requirement. Must have a regular driver's license. Requires 3 months farm experience.
