Job description
Assist severely disabled person with all activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, eating, positioning in bed, transfers to wheelchair from bed, taking medication, water, and hydration, catheter and colostomy maintenance including bag changes and flushes, laundry and light cleaning, meal preparation, positioning for daily naps and overnight sleep. Assist with stretching and limb exercises. Maintain detailed hourly records in writing following caregiver guidebook protocols. Provide verbal feedback to the next shift. All activities completed under supervision and guidance of the disabled person.
Special Requirements
Shifts available daily, MondaySunday, 35-40 hours per week, with weekend/holiday work required. Rotating shifts at the following times (subject to change):
6am-3pm
2pm-11pm
10pm-7am
