Job description

The Holiday Installer follows detailed digital work orders and onsite supervisory instructions to install large-scale holiday décor and lighting displays at designated job sites. Duties include assembling, positioning, and securing decorative installations such as wreaths, walk-through ornaments, illuminated bows, pole-mounted displays, and frame trees ranging from 8 to 50 feet in height. The position requires the safe use of ladders and aerial lift equipment, when properly certified, to access elevated installation areas. Holiday Installers are responsible for transporting, handling, and setting up décor materials with care to ensure proper installation and prevent damage to display components. Additional duties include troubleshooting and resolving minor installation-related issues, including tightening or replacing fasteners, repairing split wiring, and replacing damaged light strands to ensure displays are safely installed and fully operational.

Transportation will be provided to and from area worksites at employer’s expense from a centralized La Palma, CA pick-up location.

Housing option available to workers outside of commuting distance.

Employer will provide meals during shifts.

Special Requirements

3 months of previous experience in construction, installation, or assembly of holiday lighting or decor. Must be able to work outdoors for extended hours in varying conditions. Must be physically able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and work at heights of 25 - 100 feet. Must be 21 years or older. Must have a valid driver's license. Must own a working mobile phone.

Shifts are from 7am - 4pm and 3pm - 12am, Sunday - Saturday. Shift assignments will be based on project schedules. 5 - 10 hours OT as needed. Start time may be earlier or later depending on location and size of the project. Employer will provide meals during shifts.

We want to clarify the information on Item F.a.5. During the work week, which runs Sunday through Saturday, employees are scheduled to work a 40 hour workweek and given OT as needed. F.a.5 does not allow us to enter such a work schedule. If we enter 8 hours each day, it would show 56 hours a week, which is not an accurate reflection of their work schedule.

Employer will perform ladder/heights test.
