Job description
Plant cultivate, irrigate & propagate (orange, lime, grapefruit). Use hand tools to graft donor stock onto recipient stock technically sufficient so the graft takes. Farm, fields & shed sanitation. stake, tie, & prune nursery plants. Heavy lifting to 70lbs. Frequent bending and stooping.
Special Requirements
Must recognize 10 different specie of citrus and sub-specie of citrus. Must recognize stage for grafting, make bark incision at best location & particular incision pattern for specific specie of rootstock, insert properly, then secure insert to root stock. Drug test paid for by employer, post hire, in the event of injury or suspicion of worker being under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
