Job description

Monitor activities to ensure adherence to rules and safety procedures in all guest areas of resort to include arcades, pool decks, activities and retail areas with focus on pool decks. Maintain inventory of equipment, storing and retrieving items, assembling and disassembling equipment as necessary, and upkeep of guest areas. Arrange, organize, and execute activities, entertainment, and events throughout resort. Ensure excellent customer service as it relates to guest activities. Cash handling and credit card processing in retail outlets with
use of electronic scanners, cash registers, or related equipment. Other tasks as assigned.
Minimum 35 hours per week up to a possible 40 hours per week. Resort is open 7 days a week, workdays will vary Sunday through Saturday. Normal shift: 11:00AM-7:30PM. Additional shifts: 7:00AM-3:30PM, 11:00AM-7:30PM and 2:30PM-11:00PM. 30-minute, unpaid break per shift. Workdays and shift times may vary with events and occupancy.

Special Requirements

No minimum education or experience required.
Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check, paid by employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and foreign/H-2B.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Applicants must complete an employment application.
Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Must be able to work in severe inclement weather and varying degrees of extreme temperature.
Must be able to be exposed to various industrial chemicals, cleaning agents, etc.
Must be able to be exposed to strong odors, and loud noise levels.
If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. If necessary, employer will reimburse worker within first pay period for approved cost of meals and lodging at the applicable exchange rate, not to exceed reasonable costs. Receipts must be submitted.

The employer will reimburse H-2B workers in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).

The employer will provide worker at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform job. Uniform pieces provided at no cost to employee.
The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
