Job description

Serves and attends to all customers, internal and external, while upholding KIGR / Restaurant standards of service. Ensure accurate and efficient production of beverages that enhances both the service staff and the individual guest experience. Ensure that all members and their guests are greeted promptly upon arrival at the Club House / Restaurant / Outlet. Prepares Bar Area for service to include: chairs and tables are in proper place, making sure the bar is stocked and ready for service, help service staff with lunch and dinner setup when possible, complete all posted side work. Must have excellent to very good knowledge of beverage service. Must adhere to uniform and appearance standards at all times. Provide the members and their guests with prompt and professional service. Maintain bar cleanliness and keep all bar areas organized and uncluttered at all times. Empty trash containers before reaching the top. Ensure that bar stools are kept at the pushed in position when not occupied and continuously maintained as guests leave. Ensure the bar is always attended to by a bartender or a member of the team at all times. Must complete all opening and closing procedures, daily side works and weekly side works. When not making drinks, bartender will circulate around the bar area, cleaning, offering drinks and helping service staff. During special functions the bartender will help the Bar Manager with on location bar setup and provide service as needed. Secure all company assets when not in use. Comply with county health requirements. Communicate timely with the Bar Manager to ensure no item will be out of stock for service. Verbally communicates and take guests’ requests in person and over the phone. Must be able to use MICROS and / or Point of Sale systems. Must work both independently and in a team environment. Must possess the ability to adapt in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment. Must be able to stand for entirety of shift while bending, stretching, and lifting. Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds. Minimum of 21 years of age required to be able to mix and serve alcohol.
Minimum 35 hours per week up to 40 hours per week. Open 7 days a week. Multiple 8-hour shifts: 5am-1pm, 6am-2pm, 7am–3pm, 8am–4pm, 9am – 5pm, 10am-6pm, 11am-7pm, 12pm-8pm, 1pm-9pm, 2pm-10pm, 3pm-11pm, 4pm-12am, 5pm-1am. Hours and shifts may vary with occupancy.

Basic Wage Rate: $12.27

Tipped Position: Tipped position. Allowed tip credit applied per FLSA guidelines at $4.94. The cash wage paid will be $7.33. Employer guarantees offered wage in any given work week when tip compensation does not make hourly wage equal/or exceed $12.27. If in a given work week the worker's tips do not meet the hourly tip credit, the employer will compensate for the difference between what is earned and the hourly guaranteed base rate. All tips received by the tipped worker are retained by the worker except for a valid tip pooling arrangement limited to workers who customarily and regularly receive tips. The tip credit will not apply unless the worker has been notified of the employer's intention to exercise the tip credit. Employer may increase wage based on experience, changes in market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Pay received bi-weekly.

Banquet Bartenders - Service Fee position. Base Rate $12.27/hr. Cash wage paid will be at $10.00 plus a percentage of the Service Fee for Banquets. Allowed Service Fee credit applied per FLSA guidelines. Employer guarantees offered wage in any given work week when service fee compensation does not make hour wage equal/or exceed base rate of $12.27/hr.

Overtime: An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours...

Special Requirements

Must be able to work at least a 5-day schedule, including weekends and holidays as required. Upholds the core values and policies & procedures of the resort. Post-Employment Criminal Background check is required, cost paid by employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and foreign/H-2B. Applicants must complete an employment application.
