Job description
Prepare traditional Thai and Japanese cuisine, including menu development. Prepare authentic Thai cuisine for service, including both raw and cooked sushi. Duties include chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces, ensuring that all culinary food preparation is produced according to the high standards for quality, visual appeal and consistency. Set up and break down cooking line, gathering all supplies needed to prepare meals. Cover, date and store all leftover re-usable products. Stock inventory and supplies. Clean up station & kitchen including, break down cardboard, sweep and mops floors, clean all pots, pans, flatware and utensils.
Special Requirements
Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend. Push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds. No education required. 6 months of experience required in the preparation of authentic Thai cuisine. Saturday work required when necessary. Workers will be paid bi-weekly on Friday and pay will be up-to-date and include the 14th day.
