Job description
Serve as first point of contact for guests arriving at hotel. Greet and check-in guests, verify guest information, process reservations, assign rooms, provide room keys and information, check-out guest, collect payments, and issue invoices or receipts. Respond to guest inquiries, assist with special requests and resolve issues. Keep accurate records of room availability and rates, manage reservations, and promoting hotel services. Answer incoming calls and respond to guest emails. Handle cash and credit card transactions, maintain an accurate cash drawer, and document all financial transactions. Perform general administrative tasks. Ensure security and safety of guests by following the hotel’s security and emergency procedures.
Special Requirements
Proficiency in using hotel management software and computer applications. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
To clarify F.a. 5 and 6 above: 8-hour shift, 5 days per week. The specific days of the week and shift changes from week to week. Shifts: 7:00am - 3:00pm; 3:00pm 11:00pm; 11:00pm 7:00am
