Job description
Greet and communicate with all resort guests. Register and assign rooms to guests of the resort. Guest Service attendant responsibilities include accommodating inn patrons by registering and assigning rooms to guests, issuing room keys or cards, transmitting, and receiving messages, keeping records of occupied rooms and guests’ accounts, making, and confirming reservations to include reservations for all resort amenities, and presenting statements to and collecting payments from departing guests, act as a cashier in all outlets as necessary. They will review accounts and charges with guests during the check-out process and answer inquiries pertaining to services, guest registration, and travel directions, or make recommendations regarding shopping, dining, or entertainment. May assist guests with their luggage.
Please note: Under the anticipated days and hours of work per week, we provided an example of a work schedule. Our business is open 7 days a week so the days and hours worked will vary.
DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE WORK AND THE BUSINESS OPERATIONS, THE SHIFT TIMES WILL VARY AND WILL WORK WEEKENDS, SPLIT AND ROTATE SHIFTS. THE MINIMUM HOURS OFFERED PER WEEK WILL BE 35 HOURS PER WEEK.
Special Requirements
Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Experience is not required as Guest Service Agents are required to go through extensive training and must assist with answering the phone and taking reservations.
