Job description
The role of the Kitchen Staff includes reading and following recipes, frying foods and taking orders, making sandwiches or salads bagging and pricing products cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware. The Kitchen Staff will also store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage portion and wrap food or place it directly on plates for service to patrons, take and record the temperature of food and food storage areas, such as refrigerators and freezers, prepare a variety of foods, such as meats, vegetables, or desserts, according to customers' orders. Package take-out foods or serve food to customers, remove trash and as needed, receive and store food supplies, equipment, and utensils in refrigerators, cupboards, and other storage areas, inform designated personnel when equipment is not working properly and when food and supplies are getting low.
Special Requirements
Employees will work Mon-Sun an average of 40 hrs/wk. Must be able to work any 8 hr shift from 5 am to 3pm any day of the week, days off rotate, shifts vary, weekends are required. This job requires continuous movement, regular bending, lifting, pushing. Must be flexible, communicate effectively, speak clear English, be a team player. Weekends and holidays are a must.
