Job description

• Stripping guestroom of dirty linen, towels, and trash. Cleaning guest rooms and bathrooms including sweeping, dusting, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, sanitizing, and restocking. Follow room cleaning, deep cleaning, and preventative maintenance procedures to keep rooms in pristine condition. Follow time in motion guidelines for time spent cleaning rooms.
• Clean, set up, maintain and stock all areas identified as public, event space and public bathrooms at the resort. Follow proper cleaning and stocking procedures and use of housekeeping equipment, carts and rooms.. Respond to calls to address public space cleanliness issues. Empty trash cans, mop floors, clean windows, sanitize guest areas in the resort. Proper use of the radio.

Cleaning and stocking closets/carts/event bars & function spaces, collect/emptying trash from the resort & marina grounds, Make/strip beds and delivering clean linens to guestrooms. Emptying trash from exterior areas of the hotel buildings. Follow proper procedures in using housekeeping equipment and carts. Maintain and clean hardscape areas, walkways, boardwalks, and event space. Towel service for the pool areas. Stocking clean pool towels, collecting dirty pool towels. Transporting pool towels to and from the laundry. Organizing pool deck furniture daily during opening/closing procedures. Maintaining pool area trash cans and general pool deck cleanliness during the shift. Cleaning furniture on pool deck. Responding to guests’ requests and inquiries. Proper use of the radio.
• Wash, fold, and dry laundry.
• Min 35hrs/wk., Shifts; 7a – 2p, 9a – 5:30p, 2:30 p – 11p & 11p – 7:30a.
• Min. starting wage $16/hr. to $18/hr. OT hours (over 40 hrs./week) may be available from $24 to 27/hr.
• Temporary/Full time
• 1 month's experience required.
• Monday through Sunday, scheduled shift workdays vary.
• Must be available to work weekends & holidays.
• No on-the-job training is provided.
• No education required.
• Pay bi-weekly.
• Employers will use a single workweek as their standard for computing wages due.
• Supplies, work tools & equipment are provided free.
• Optional shared housing subject to availability $175-$200/wk. (utilities not included) & will be deducted from paycheck bi-weekly plus all deductions required by law.
• $400 housing deposit required and will be deducted at a rate of $50 bi-weekly until the total has been collected.
• Optional Daily transportation to/from work provided from optional employee housing @ cost of $2 per day & will be deducted from paycheck bi-weekly.
• Visa & related fees will be reimbursed during the first work week.
• Guaranteed work for total hrs. equal to at least ¾ of the workdays in each 12-week period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and daily subsistence (min $15.46 /day and max $59/day). If the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early employer will arrange and pay directly for return transportation and daily subsistence (min $15.46 /day and max $59/day) upon departure.
