Job description
Cooks will be responsible for cooking,baking, grilling, sauteing, and broilingseafood, meat, poultry and vegetables,keeping the kitchen area clean and sanitized,receiving and storing all ingredients daily ,preparing all raw ingredients, preparing sauces, breaking down and scaling wholefish. They will also be responsible forpreparation of raw bar ice display, caviar presentation and plating hot and cold food. Will report directly to the Executive Chef at Sails Restaruants . Special Requirements
The Petitioner will consider for employment any applicant who possesses at least one(1)year of culinary experience in a fine-diningor high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club. Applicant must complete pre-employment backgroundcheck and drug screening.
Applicant will also be required to complete on the job training. Please note that while materials are available online for training, reviewing these training materials is not mandatory outside of work hours as on-the-job training is provided.
Hours: Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 10:00am to 6:00pm and 3:00pm to 11:00pm. Shift hours may vary.
