Job description

The Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities are: Produce sweet cider in accordance with company standards for food safety, proper food handling practices and sanitation; Ensure that all Federal and State Regulations and standards for product freshness, food safety, weights and measures, store safety, employee safety, refrigeration, and sanitation are met; follow instructions provided by the Sweet Cider Maker conforming to the schedule of tasks given by the same; Ensure bottling inventory is well stocked coordinating with Sweet Cider Maker, Marketing & Sales Associates when replenishment is necessary; Scrub and sanitize all production, inventory areas and equipment of sweet cider production in accordance with GAP and HACCP requirements; Work with the Sweet Cider Maker to ensure correct varieties of apples are pressed into cider; Follow proper procedures when bottling the sweet cider; Maintain records pertaining to bottle, production, and inventory. Separating, Filtering, Clarifying, Precipitating, and Still Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders. The individual must be able to stand for long periods of time; be able to lift, stack and maneuver objects. Must have an education in Technology and or at least one year experience in cidery, brewery, winery or related industries. Weekends and nights are required. Mon-Sun an average of 40 hrs./wk. Must be able to work any 8-hour shift between the hours of 8 am to 10 pm any day of the week, days off rotate, shifts vary, weekends a must.

Special Requirements
