Groundskeeper

Job description

Groundskeepers will be responsible for maintaining resort grounds using hand and power tools and equipment. Will perform any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, weeding, raking, and sprinkler installation. Will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and operation of grounds and buildings, including collecting trash, performing basic and routine pool maintenance, performing routine installations of new equipment, and completion of routine repair and maintenance requests as directed. Will assist in minor set-ups for hotel meeting functions throughout the hotel and grounds, including transporting and rearranging furniture.

Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 6:00am to 1:00pm, 8:00am to 3:00pm, or 10:00am to 5:00pm. Shift hours may vary.

Special Requirements

The Petitioner will consider for employment any applicant who possesses at least three (3) months of experience maintaining grounds at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club.
