Floor Tech

Job description

Ensures overall floor maintenance of hard surface and carpet (dust and wet mopping, stripping, waxing, vacuuming, shampooing, buffing and polishing using commercial machinery) of the dining, common and private areas at the clubs during busy seasonal period. Is responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions. Performs additional janitorial services such as cleaning restrooms and other common areas, collecting towels and dirty linens, removing refuse, and blowing or pressure washing walkways. Utilizes protective gear in all appropriate functions. Performs cleaning activities within established guidelines and assigned areas to ensure that quality standards, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations are met. Responsible for satisfactory and timely completion of assigned cleaning area according to schedule. Work may be performed during all shifts, including the overnight shift. Must be able to lift/move 40 pounds and continuously stand, walk, bend and reach for 8 hours or more daily.

Anticipated days and hours of work per week and schedule: 35 hours per week (no less than). Five shifts a week during the Seven-day workweek. Standard Shift Schedules are 9pm to 5am, 7am to 3pm, 2pm to 11am. Work is primarily performed during the overnight shift, although some daytime work maybe required. Overtime as needed only.

Special Requirements

Must be 18 years of age; pass pre-employment drug test (in accordance with companys Drug Free Workplace Policy) and background check. This includes seasonal and full-time annual positions and is applied to all applicants regardless of their national origin, race, gender, or visa status. Must be available to work all shifts, including weekends, evenings, overnight, and holidays. Must present a professional demeanor and appearance.
