Job description

Employee must be able to work in a high altitude, winter environment. Employees will work in 1 of 6 restuarants located on the mountain or in the base area. Employee will be responsible for the customer facing area of the Food and Beverage establishments. Job responsibilites include, but are not limited to attaining the money from the ticket office, working a cash register, stocking customer facing coolers, cutting product and setting up a burger bar, brewing coffee, refilling machines, wiping tables, monitoring/changing trash, and stocking snacks. Each location on the mountain has a dedicated checklist for the day for each position. Front of house employees are expected to complete each item on the checklist by the time stated on said checklist. Each checklist has prepping tasks which need to be completed before any customer rush, customer serving tasks that are done while busy (such as stocking and keeping the coffee machine full), and cleaning/stocking tasks that ensure the front of house area is cleaned and stocked for the next day of service.

Approved non-slip footwear is required for all Food and Beverage employees in any kitchen at Wolf Creek Ski Area.(ALL Food and Beverage employees may be asked to help fill needs as they arise if there is a staffing shortage, therefore, it is important for non-slip approved footwear be worn or easily accesible by all Food and Beverage employees.) Food and Beverage Level 1 Training and Level 2 Training Required. Responsible for knowledge and adherence to all relevant CDPHE food handling rules and regulations. (Located and taught in F&B Level 1 and Level 2 Training)
