Job description
Cooks III will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food items in a restaurant, inspecting and cleaning food preparation areas, such as equipment, work surfaces, or serving areas, to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices, ensuring freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items and rotating stock, consulting with head chef and sous chef as need for guidance, observing and testing foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, using methods such as tasting, smelling, or piercing them with utensils.
Special Requirements
One (1) year of culinary experience in a related field in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club required.
On-the-Job Training provided. Will Train.
Shift available 7 days a week, hours may vary and include weekends and holidays. Work hours from: 7:00am to 2:00pm, 9:00am to 5:00pm, or 10:00am to 8:00pm, shifts based on the time of the season, daylight, and need.
Hourly Wage: $19.48 to $23.00/hr (based on merit and past experience with our company).
Overtime may be available at $29.22 to $34.50/hr.
Raises may be given based on merit and past experience with our company.
