Job description
Responsibilities include welcoming members/guests; opening doors; moving luggage; delivering and removing long term storage to and from residences; valet parking member/guest vehicles, acquainting guests with amenities of the club and their rooms; anticipating member/guest’s needs and exceeding those needs; responding to and resolving inquires and complaints; and coordinating with other departments to ensure members/guests feel well-cared for and valued. Greets members/guests by name when possible. Ensures that all members/guests/visitors feel welcomed to the property. Maintains a personal demeanor that is friendly, cheerful and courteous at all times. Ensures member/guest satisfaction by responding to inquiries with accurate information and a positive attitude. Assists members/guests by opening doors, unloading luggage from vehicle and transporting to their room, personally carrying the luggage or using a luggage cart. Parks or retrieves members/guests’ cars when asked and ensures safety of car keys. Points out to members/guests who are new to the club the location of the bar, fire exits, how to use the TV, heat or air conditioning, coffee pot, safe and offers to get ice for them. Assists members/guests with equipment such as skis or snowboards. Upon departure, assists members/guests by transporting luggage from room to vehicle and load luggage into vehicle and thank the member/guest by name for visiting The Teton Club. Ensures that entry areas are free of debris and present a clean and attractive entrance for members/guests. Completes all duties and submits daily checklist to the Director of Member Services. Delivers newspapers, mail, packages, and long term storage items to residences. Maintains accurate record of items kept in long term storage (reports this to Director of Member Services). Answers inquiries pertaining to services, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions. If unable to answer questions, introduces the guest to the concierge. Responds to calls in a timely manner and according to club expectations. Welcomes and effectively resolves member/guest questions, issues and complaints with supervisor assistance as needed. Attends team briefings.
Special Requirements
Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Basic level English skills required. Work schedule is at least 5 days/week with shifts varying by day and work days varying by week to include Saturday and Sunday. Employer-paid post-hire drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers upon suspicion of use. Must possess or be able to obtain U.S. driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
