Job description

S P HARVESTER CORP. (21) Temporary Agricultural Workers for (Grady County, GA); of March/28/2025 to October/16/2025, (Loading Plants, move on equipment, verify planting, moving dirt, Lifting plants, Pulling plants) All types work on General Nursery Craftsman by hand; Sow in pots, Clear Dirty in pots, loading, Planting, transplanting, pruning, Weeding, Watering, pulling plant, and Clear, up rows where plantings are. Prolonged walking, standing, bending, stooping, and reaching. Job is indoor and outdoor continues in all types of weather. Able to lift and carry 50 pounds repetitively throughout the workday. It should not hinder the productivity of another worker. Requires 1 month of verifiable manual Nursery work experience. All workers will be paid by hourly rate $16.08 /hour. Guarantee 35 hours a week. 1st week warranty. The use or possession or being under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol during working time is prohibited. Workers may be requested to submit to random drug or alcohol testing at no cost to the worker. Failure to comply with the request or testing positive may result in immediate termination. Housing is provided at no cost to workers who cannot reasonably return own residency daily. The tools are provided by the employer at no cost to workers. 3/4 scheduled working hours guaranteed. Transportation/Daily provided at no cost to workers. Transport/subsistence reimbursed for the costs incurred by reporting to the workplace if the worker completes half the period of employment. Return Transportation Refunded if the worker terminates the contract. The employer understands that the Fair Labor Standards Act applies independently of the H-2A requirements and imposes. obligations on employers regarding payment of wages. 20 CFR 655.122(h)(1). In the event a female worker is hired, the employer will provide separate sleeping, bathing, and toilet facilities for male and female workers. Must be 18 years old.
