Job description
- Inspecting and cleaning food preparation areas, such as equipment, work surfaces, and serving areas, to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices;
- Ensuring freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock;
- Seasoning and cooking food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience;
- Observing and testing foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, using methods such as tasting, smelling, or piercing them with utensils;
- Portioning, arranging, and garnishing food, and serving food to waiters or patrons;
- Baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods.
Special Requirements
Candidate should have 12 months of experience as a Cook.
