Job description

Taking orders and processing transactions, preparing and serving various dishes from mobile food carts/trucks at various street locations, festivals and private catering events. Operate cooking and food preparation equipment including grills, stoves, fryers, mixers and tumblers. Preparing various meats and vegetables by washing, grilling, chopping, slicing, shredding, sprinkling, mixing, rubbing at kitchen, mobile food carts/trucks and at various street locations and festival and catering events. Traveling and transporting food, supplies and equipment between supply and service locations and to storage facilities. Complete setup and breakdown activities at mobile street locations and special event locations at the beginning and end of each work day. Complete cleaning tasks at the beginning, during and at the end of each workday at the kitchen, mobile street locations and special event locations. Wash by hand all pots, pans, utensils and food service equipment and maintain these in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition. Service and maintain all mobile food carts and equipment by washing, sanitizing and cleaning as needed.

Special Requirements

IF CERTIFICATION IS NOT HELD, THEN NEW HIRES WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE FOOD VENDOR TRAINING SO AS TO BE LICENSED MOBILE FOOD VENDORS. DOES
NOT CHANGE "TRAINING" DURATION ABOVE.
Drivers license is required - worker will have up to 2 weeks to obtain license from the time of interview/offer.

Workers typically will work 5-7 hour shifts between 4:00am and 2:00am, 5-7 days per week with exact days and shifts varying.
