Job description

Workers will perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following but not limited: landscaping or maintaining grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment, sod laying, mowing, trimming, weeding, installing plant and flower beds, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, repairing irrigation systems, edging, pruning landscape install, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Workers will be working in various positions including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting, and walking for extended periods of time.

Special Requirements

Requires three months of Landscaping experience. Must lift/carry 75 lbs., when necessary and frequently work in various positions including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting, and walking for extended periods of time. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Employer-paid drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post-hire at random, upon suspicion of use, and post-accident. Post-hire background check and employment eligibility (e-Verify) check required of foreign and domestic workers, as company serves federal contract sites. Post-hire motor vehicle record check required only of foreign and domestic workers who drive company vehicles (driving is not a requirement of all workers in the position). Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
