Job description
Executing each menu item for breakfast, lunch and dinner efficiently and quickly; Studying each recipe carefully to cook authentic Italian recipes, breads and pastry. Cooking food in a timely manner; Prioritize kitchen tasks; Food preparation (following authentic italian recipes closely to prepare pastas, sauces, soups and more); Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies; Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff; Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions; Clean up station, keep work areas clean, Sanitized, organized and take care of leftover food; Stock inventory appropriately; Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
Basic english required to communicate with other staff and co-workers.
Special Requirements
Three (3) months of previous kitchen experience in restaurant, hotel, resort, private club or other hospitality business that requires the same tasks and functions.
