Job description
Wash, chop and measure ingredients according to recipes. Follow recipes to prepare and cook menu items, ensuring consistency and quality. Keep kitchen areas, utensils and equipment clean and sanitized at all times. Adhere to food handling, hygiene and safety protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient kitchen workflow. Assist in keeping track of kitchen supplies and ingredients, notifying supervisors when stock is low. As needed, help with washing dishes and other kitchen-related tasks.
Special Requirements
Must have 1 year of experience in the following:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Attention to detail and a passion for food. Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 kg.
