Job description

Bartenders will be responsible for providing friendly, attentive, and timely service to create an exceptional experience for all of our guests and members, promptly opening and closing the bar, maintaining bar liquor stock at all times, accurately ordering and recording all supplies, merchandise and other items, maintaining cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storeroom, preparing fruits, garnishes and mixes, professionally and accurately mixing alcoholic beverages, assisting service staff with using the proper garnish and glass for each drink, setting up and tearing down all liquor and mixes for beverage functions, counting and charging all liquor for beverage functions, maintaining bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation, addressing guest concerns in a timely and efficient manner and implement, recording drink orders accurately and immediately into the register system using guest/member cards, checking identification in order to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol, attempting to limit problems and liability related to customers' excessive drinking by following TIPS training, taking reservations as necessary, and assisting the kitchen and service staff with sidework (e.g., cleaning, restocking, and organizing the bar and food service area and supplies) and delivering food to bar customers when needed. Bartenders will need to lift, carry, pull and push up to 50 lbs intermittently throughout a shift.

Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 7:00AM-2:00PM or 3:00PM-10:00PM. Shift hours may vary.

Special Requirements

The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months of bartending experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club.

Applicant must complete pre-employment background check at employers expense.

Applicant must be at least 18 years or older to dispense or serve alcoholic beverages according to Georgia Law.
