Job description

Perform duties on a farm for a farmer like: Drive/operate equipment such as GPS autosteer
systems and skid-steer loader for liquid and dry manure management; attach implements;
perform removal, pumping, application, and treatment of manure. Drive and operate farm
machinery, farm trucks with tanker or box, and manure equipment that load and unload or
spread or dump product in designated locations. Place and operate manure equipment that
supports the hose team, operates crawlers, tractors, pumps and loaders. Operate harvest and
spreading equipment as needed. Operate towed machines such as seed drills or manure
spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops. Clear and maintain irrigation ditches. Clean
and maintain yards, grounds, and facilities and field edges. Record information about liquid
manure management. Repair, lubricate, and maintain equipment and pumps. May need to
change oil, basic equipment disassembly and reassembly. Basic Facility maintenance and
upkeep. Operate and maintain bin sites along with packing tractors. Load and unload crops or
containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers.
Drive trucks to haul manure, supplies, tools, or farmworkers.

Special Requirements

Minimum of 2 months of experience is required. Certified license is required. Must be able to obtain a CDL within 30 days of hire.
Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and
pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Wage rate may
increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those
listed here in his sole discretion. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating
equipment. Failure to pass drug screen will result in termination of employment.
