Job description

MH BLUEBERRY HARVESTING LLC/ MARGARITO HERNANDEZ(FLC), (124) temporary agricultural workers for North Carolina in (Bladen and Sampson Counties) from April/28/2025 to June/29/2025. (Blueberry Harvesting); Blueberry Harvest by hand, plant, weed, prune, care, clean up rows where plantings are, driving buses, and equipment operations on the blueberry farm. Prolonged walking, standing, bending, stooping, and reaching. Job is outdoor and continues in all types of weather. Able to lift and carry 50 pounds repetitively throughout the workday. It should not hinder the productivity of another worker. The use or possession or being under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol during working time is prohibited. Workers may be requested to submit to random drug or alcohol testing at no cost to the worker. Failure to comply with the request or testing positive may result in immediate termination. Requires 1 month of verifiable work experience in blueberry manual harvesting. $3.50 per Bucket 1Gallon or equivalent/Blueberry. All cubes must be full. $16.16/hour. 35 hours a week. 1st week warranty. Housing is provided at no cost to workers who cannot reasonably return own residency daily. The tools are provided by the employer at no cost to the worker. 3/4 scheduled working hours guaranteed. Transport/subsistence reimbursed for the costs incurred by reporting to the workplace if the worker completes half the period of employment. Return Transportation Refunded if the worker terminates the contract. The employer understands that the Fair Labor Standards Act applies independently of the H-2A requirements and imposes. obligations on employers regarding payment of wages. 20 CFR 655.122(h)(1). In the event a female worker is hired, the employer will provide separate sleeping, bathing, and toilet facilities for male and female workers. Must be 18 years old.
