Job description

Crops: Soybeans, Grains, Corn, Sorghum, Barley, and Flax.
Assist with custom harvest operation. Drive and control equipment to support agricultural
activities such as tilling soil; planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops. Operate a variety of
machinery, i.e. combines, grain carts, etc. Assist designated CDL Drivers with transport of
produce from field and bin to elevator or storage area via semi-truck. Assist with hauling
harvesting machines between work sites. Workers on this contract will not be driving semitrucks and will only assist in the loading and unloading of trucks. Service and clean machinery,
and make in-field repairs.

Workers who possess a valid driver’s license and meet all applicable legal requirements, including holding a doctor’s certificate as required by 29 CFR § 500.105, may be asked to drive vehicles for transporting workers, goods, or commodities on company business. This task is voluntary, compensable, and not a mandatory job duty. Workers without a valid driver’s license or doctor’s certificate will still be fully eligible for employment and are not disqualified from any other job responsibilities outlined in this application. The employer can and will make alternative arrangements for the transportation of workers should the need arise.

Special Requirements

3 months experience operating large machinery/equipment

All new employees are subject to a post-hire, employer-paid drug test. Employer reserves the right to conduct employer-paid random drug testing in accordance with state law. Employer reserves the right to conduct employer-paid upon-suspicion drug testing. Employer reserves the right to conduct employer-paid post-accident drug testing. Any employee who declines to take or fails this drug test will be terminated and paid for all hours worked, if any.
