Job description

Employees will load and unload agriculture inputs such as chemical, fertilizer and supplies. They will keep inventory of warehouse location and will keep the warehouse buildings, floors, and outdoor yards in orderly manner. Employees will operate self-propelled fertilizer equipment and ground spraying equipment. Materials and supplies will need to be delivered to designated locations. All job site locations are commutable daily back to the home base location. Routine maintenance will need to be done on all equipment used, structures and grounds including mowing grass and snow removal. Must be self-motivated and a team player. Employees must have a valid driver's license or capable of obtaining one in 30 days. Cell phone usage is limited to operational business-related calls only. NO TEXTING. No smoking in vehicles, equipment, or housing. Drug testing will be done pre post and randomly throughout the work contract. Failing of the testing is terms of dismissal of job position. Drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours is totally prohibited and terms for dismissal of job position. No Educational level required and must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly. Required is 3 months self-propelled hand sprayer, Tractors /tenders, augers, fork lift and skid steer operating experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Receive grain and accurately load it into the correct bins
• Prepare the grain to ship to named destinations as directed by the operations leader
• Operate scale to weigh inbound and outbound trucks and railcars
• Operate conveyors and other heavy equipment to load trucks or railcars
• Operate loader to run and clean out the bottom of the bins
• Inspect and maintain a clean, safe, and productive working environment
• Maintain equipment and repair as needed such as grease bearings, repair holes, replace belts on motor
• Read and test sensors and bearings on the Hazard Monitoring system to ensure the system is running efficiently
• Log and report any malfunctions and issues to operations leader
• Participate in the safety program by following all safety policies, and wearing proper PPE
• Adhere to company policies and procedures set forth by the company
• Work additional hours as assigned and/or during peak seasons

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job. The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• Must have the ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs
• Ability to use a shovel and broom
• Ability to communicate with others
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to stand, grasp, walk, reach, and use repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement
• Ability to drive, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl
• Must be able to visually see 20 feet or more, at 20 inches or less, three-dimensional vision, precise hand-eye coordination, and the ability to identify and distinguish colors
• Requires concentrated attention
• Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions
• *This is a safety-sensitive position
• Other duties as assigned

Drug testing will be done pre-hire and randomly throughout the work contract at the expense of the employer. Use of drugs is not only illegal but also a safety hazard and failure to pass a drug test will result in immediate termination of the job position.

Special Requirements

Employees must have a valid driver's license or be capable of obtaining one in 30 days. Good Driving record.
