Job description

Worker will maintain sanitation standards in all kitchen work areas by cleaning dishes, kitchen, food preparation equipment, or utensils.. Worker will provide clean cooking utensils for the food and beverage operations and ensure that all utensils and equipment are clean, dry, and stored correctly in the designated areas. Worker will maintain safety, proper storage of chemicals such as Bleach, Clorox, and Food safety products for cleaning, and chemical concentration logs. Worker will perform daily set ups of China, glassware, and silverware items for all outlets. Worker will participate as a team player with other key team members, attend department briefings as necessary to communicate necessary, complete all opening/closing procedures as instructed, and assist with execution of departmental objectives and goals. Worker will monitor inventory levels for food and ingredients, cooking materials and supplies for culinary, dishware, and cleaning supplies through regular inventory checks, maintain all equipment such as cleanliness of dishwashers, stove tops, ovens, mixers, refrigerators, and cooking prep areas and be sure it is properly handled and maintained, and adhere to all company policy and procedures.

Special Requirements

Three (3) months of experience in high-volume restaurants, resort, or private club. Required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts greater than eight (8) hours in length. Required to read, write, speak, and understand English. Required to work indoors and outdoors. Required to stand, walk, and move for period of greater than four (4) hours. Required to carry, bend, stoop, squat, reach, push and pull and left and carry up to 50 lbs.
