Job description
The Food and Beverage Supervisor will support the Food and Beverage Manager in effectively managing the restaurant through observance, teamwork, and ensuring floor presence, as well as attending and initiating department meetings as necessary. They will assist with any member or guest issues and concerns professionally and courteously. At the same time, they are maintaining a thorough understanding of restaurant menu items and knowing food and beverage pairings. Ensure continual product quality control and daily maintenance of procedures. Ensure all cleaning schedules, temperature records, and opening/closing checklists are completed and recorded daily for all F&B outlets on the property. The food and beverage supervisors will assist in basic duties like running food, clearing tables, reset any China glassware or silverware as needed. Maintain compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and all company policies, and government safety, health, and security standards are always fulfilled. Monitor inventory levels through regular inventory checks for all F&B outlets, maintain all equipment, and be sure it is appropriately handled and maintained by all food and beverage staff—any other duties as assigned.
Special Requirements
Ten (10) months of front-of-house experience in high-volume restaurants, resorts, or private clubs. Know how to work in a team and have a positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members. Required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts greater than eight (8) hours in length. Required to read, write, speak, and understand English. Required to work indoors and outdoors. Required to stand, walk, and move for a period of greater than eight (8) hours. Required to lift, carry, bend, stoop, squat, reach, push and pull. They may be required to lift and carry items, sometimes over 50 pounds.
