Job description
Job Duties: Safely move, carry and set up dining tables, chairs and buffet equipment such as airpots and urns for coffee, beverage dispensers, pitchers, chafers, and food pans. Deliver food and beverages, clean tables, remove dirty dishes, replace soiled table linens, set tables, replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes, supply service/buffet/cold/hot bar with food and beverages. Serve items such as water, condiments, and coffee to patrons; perform assigned side work, including cleaning of event space. Follow required safe cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
Employer will offer a minimum 35 hours of work per week. Resort is open 7 days a week, workdays will vary Sunday through Saturday. Shift times: 7am-3pm, 12pm- 8pm, 3pm-11pm, 4pm-12am, 5pm-1am, 9pm-5am. Workdays and shift times may vary with occupancy and events.

Must be able to work a 5-day schedule, including weekends and holidays.

If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59 per day with receipts. If necessary, employer will reimburse worker within first pay period for approved cost of meals and lodging at the applicable exchange rate, not to exceed reasonable costs. Receipts must be submitted.
The employer will reimburse H-2B workers in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
Basic rate of pay: $11.48 per hour. Tip position. Allowed tip credit applied per FLSA guidelines to meet offered wage. FLSA tip credit will be applied as follows: basic wage of $9.00 per hour plus $2.48 tip credit per hour to meet the guaranteed offered wage of $11.48 per hour. Employer will guarantee offered wage for hours worked when allowed tip credit does not make hourly wage equal or exceed the offered wage of $11.48 per hour. When working as Banquet Set Up, employer offers $17.00 per hour. Employer may increase wage based on experience, performance, tenure, and/or market conditions. Overtime may be available at $17.22 per hour. When working as Banquet Set Up, overtime rate of $25.50 per hour. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek.
