This specific job duty “Assist lodge kitchen with service times when needed” means that if the lodge kitchen that serves the guests of Crystal Creek Lodge is overly busy during service times (e.g. breakfast, lunch, dinner) and in need of extra assistance, the Staff Chef position may assist the lodge chef during busy service times. This assistance is limited to assisting the lodge kitchen by plating dishes in the kitchen to help expedite service to lodge guests in the dining room. The Staff Chef is not a server and does not leave the kitchen during these busy times.

Prepare homemade, well balanced, nutritious meals for our team of 25. Create and deliver a hearty breakfast menu with a rotating 7 day plan. Create well-balanced dinner menu with a rotating 10-14 day plan. Order, inventory, and stock the staff kitchen. Perform necessary cleaning duties, such as dishwashing throughout the day to ensure a clean staff kitchen. Assist lodge kitchen with service times when needed. Help curate a family style eatery where the team can come together, refuel, and feel cared for.

Special Requirements

Eligible to obtain Alaska Food Worker Card after being hired.
