Job description

Agriculture Farm work including but not limited to Driving equipment, Loading trucks, Dumping trucks, Maintenance of all equipment, Cleaning Farm yards, and other various manual labor jobs. We are a small grain, and oilseed farm. Job duties may include but are not limited to: Loading inputs and driving trucks to transport to fields, loading crops and driving trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags; field cultivation, rock picking; swathing, harvesting of crops; assisting in the prep work for spraying (water, retrieving anhydrous tanks, getting more chemical or fertilizer); moving equipment; chisel plow, superculter, bean roller, grain cart, among other equipment operation; reading equipment for the day's work; ride transfers; seeding; participating in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops such as working with bins and augers to load carts and trailers; repairing and maintaining farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; operating tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops; cleaning work areas and maintaining grounds and landscaping; maintaining inventory; hauling and spreading topsoil, fertilizer, and other materials to condition soil; attaching implements using hand tools; guiding products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines, discard rotten items; speak and understand English.

Special Requirements

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
