Job description

Worker will be required to complete the following activities as instructed by supervisor: operate agricultural equipment including tractors, forklift, implements, grading and digging equipment, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to complete farm activities; attach farm implements to tractors or other irrigation equipment; Spray Application, Farm Equipment maintenance, general farm labor, trimming, pruning, thinning, grafting, planting, packing and hand harvest of employer grown apples, peaches, plums, cherries and plums, load and unload bins and containers onto trucks/trailers/wagons; inspect, maintain and repair trucks and agricultural equipment; drive trucks to haul supplies, tools, or crops to storage and/or market locations.

Pay will be hourly.

Special Requirements

Job requires worker to complete Heavy and Tractor-Trailer Truck Drivers operations and agricultural equipment operations tied to the growing of the following crops tasks in hand harvest and packing of apples, cherries, peaches and plums, pesticide application, and
general farm labor. Employer will provide instructions and training on specific job duties.

Experience Requirement: 3 verifiable months of commercial CDL Class A experience driving a manual multi-speed transmission truck with a minimum of a 46ft. long trailer. Applicants must possess a valid drivers license with CDL Class A endorsement or international equivalent. Applicants must be able to read and write in English. Applicants must furnish job references from recent employers within the last 3 years establishing acceptable prior experience. Employer reserves right to conduct for cause, non-discriminatory drug testing at employer expense. Drug test will not be utilized as pre-employment tool.
