Job description

Reservationists will be responsible for meeting and greeting all visitors in a pleasant, courteous and professional manner. Reservationists will assist with inquiries and directions, make dining and club activity reservations, inform managers and chefs of updated reservations, communicate with staff members in various departments, and assist with special catering orders for club members as needed. Reservationists will also provide clerical support to the club members and departments that may include faxing, copying, assisting departments with statement and club mailings as well as the preparation of outgoing mail and packages. Reservationists will be responsible for composing routing correspondence which includes creating emails for members and staff, working within the reservation systems compiling reservations and cancelations, creating food catering forms, and answering phones. Reservationists will be provided with a menu and drink list by the Director of Food & Beverage or the Executive Chef. Based on these lists, Reservationists will create menus from pre-approved templates and print them in quantities based on the number of reservations booked. Reservationists will be responsible for completing faxing and copying services as requested by members. Additionally, Reservationist are responsible for assisting with the publication and distribution of the club newsletter, researching and providing documentation as support for all Trivial Pursuit events. Must have the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 6:00am - 2:00pm, or 8:00am - 4:00pm. Shift hours may vary.

Special Requirements

The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least six (6) months of experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club.
