Job description

Assist in the preparation and production of a diverse range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods, following recipes and guidelines established by the Head Pastry Chef. Execute precise measurements and techniques to ensure consistency and quality in all pastry creations. Prepare and assemble components for plated desserts, including sauces, creams, garnishes, and accompaniments. Bake, decorate, and finish pastries and desserts with attention to detail and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas. Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling and storage of ingredients. Ensure all products and prepared items are properly labeled, dated, initialed, covered, and rotated following FIFO (first in, first out). Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations during service. Follow opening and closing procedures as instructed by kitchen management. Special Requirements

Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Pastry Cook or similar position. One (1) year of experience mixing, baking, piping, and decorating. Must have knowledge of pastry ingredients and flavor combinations.
