Job description
Produce high quality food according to recipes & menus or assigned special in a timely, organized manner. Prepare, season & cook soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food items in a restaurant. Ensure a high level of sanitation & safety at all times. Must maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area including assisting with cleaning dishes and cookware.
Employer will offer a minimum 40 hours of work per week. Resort is open 7 days a week. 5-day work schedule varies Monday through Sunday. Shift times vary including 5am-1pm, and 2pm-10pm. Other 8-hour day and evening shift times possible/may be required. Employer will offer a 30-minute paid lunch break. Workdays, hours, and shift times vary with occupancy.
Basic wage rate $16.85 per hour. Gratuity-eligible position, so actual wage with tips may occasionally be higher. The employer may increase wage based on experience, changes in market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Employer offers a complimentary meal for each employee per shift.
Overtime may be available and must be approved by management. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per work week. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $25.28 per hour.
Daily transportation provided between employee housing and all worksites at no cost to employee.
Special Requirements
Must be able to work a minimum 5-day workweek.
Must be able to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
