Job description
AEWR; US Workers: AR: $13.40; H2A Workers: AR: $12.27.
Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate poly pipe and center pivot irrigation equipment; Operate 100-300 HP tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with John Deere and Trimble GPS) to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest grain and forage crops; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage facilities; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Perform record keeping such as maintaining scale tickets, recording weights on cattle loads, recording products applied by sprayer, etc.; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Attach implements using hand tools; Attend to live farm animals including cattle; Examine equipment for safety, cleanliness, and basic upkeep; Perform bedding, floating, sub soiling; Must be able to speak and understand english. Approximate staggered entry: 6 workers to begin Feb 1, 2026 and 5 workers to begin August 15, 2026.
Special Requirements
Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
