Job description

This is an agricultural application to provide ground support for aerial application business. The worker will only work on employer owned and leased property within Northeast Arkansas. Duties will include: Fuel the plane by connecting and disconnecting fuel hose to and from the airplane. Mix chemicals. Read and understand a load ticket. Load the planes with chemical by connecting and disconnecting load hose to and from plane. Load plane with fertilizer/seed. Clean all equipment used daily. Mowing and maintaining airstrips using a zero-turn mower and/or a large tractor to pull a 15-20 foot mower/bush hog. Spraying weed killer and weed eating around the air strips and buildings. Repair holes / washed out areas, and remove debris that collect on airstrips due to storms and wind. Other duties also include regular maintenance of dry and liquid mixing equipment and loading equipment, washing the loader trucks and airplanes every day as well as incidental maintenance on the equipment like tractors, lawnmowers, and pickup trucks. May need to drive to town to pickup supplies.

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation or benefits at the employers discretion.
