Job description

Duties may include: Duties may include: Farmworkers and laborers, crop, nursery and greenhouse manually plant,cultivate and harvest trees. Use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears and knives. Duties may include tilling soil, applying fertilizers, transplanting, weeding, thinning or pruning crops. Applying pesticides or cleaning, grading, sorting, packing
and loading harvest products. May construct trellises, repair fences and farm building or participate in irrigation activities & other related Nursery Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work & other related Nursery Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org).

Special Requirements

Must be 18 years of age. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 50lbs; may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified. Variable weather conditions may apply.
