Job description
The worker is responsible for washing and cleaning all cookware, utensils, and equipment, including pots, pans, dishware, silverware, glassware, food slicing machines, knives, commercial beverage dispensers, and dishwashers, following Omni standards in kitchen production areas. They will also clean dishes, cups, utensils, and other kitchenware, ensuring the dishwashing area remains tidy and organized. Additionally, the worker will store cleaned items properly, keep the kitchen floor clean and debris-free using brooms, mops, buckets, and carts. They may also perform other duties assigned by Culinary Management.
Special Requirements
The worker must be able to stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Requires frequent bending, reaching overhead, and squatting. Lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance. Push/pull objects weighing up to 100 lbs without assistance. This position works in the interior of the hotel, in the restaurant and kitchen areas, with exposure to hazardous cleaning chemicals, as well as humidity, steam, and extreme temperatures. Basic English required.
