Job description

Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include tending furnace and boiler, performing routine maintenance repairs, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk. Reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending twisting pulling and stooping. Moves, lifts, carries, pushes, pulls and places objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Moves up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing in excess of 100 pounds (e.g., A/C unit, television, dresser). Moves up and down a ladder. Visually Inspects tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects). Grasps, turns, and manipulates objects of varying sizes and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand eye coordination. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Minimum 35 hours per week up to a possible 40 hours per week. Open 7 days a week. Shifts: 8:00am – 4:30pm; 8:30am-5:00pm. With un-paid half an hour break: Hours and shifts may vary with occupancy.

$19.50/hr. Employer may increase wage based on experience, changes in market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $29.25 per hour based on locality the work is performed and the base rate of pay offered per hour. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Pay received bi-weekly.

Employer will provide worker at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment, and uniform required to perform job.

Daily transportation provided from main worksite in Beaufort County to multiple worksites within Beaufort County, SC.

Special Requirements

Post-employment background check; Pre-employment, post injury or incident and reasonable suspicion drug test required cost paid by employer and applied equally to all workers, US and foreign/H2B. All employees will be required to follow the companys current policy regarding masks, vaccines and testing that is in place at their time of hire. Must be able to work a five-day schedule including weekends and holidays as required. Performs other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
